Tadej Pogačar stormed to victory in Bergamo with his arms aloft, a big smile on his face, and his ‘trademark’ tufts of hair poking out from under his helmet – an ode to youth, authenticity and spirit.Fausto Masnada finished in second (sealing his career best in a Monument Classic), while Adam Yates rounded out the podium, in third.
