Como will continue to play a leading role in Il Lombardia presented by Crédit Agricole in 2027, 2028 and 2029. The announcement was made today during a press conference held in the Council Chamber at Palazzo Cernezzi, just hours before the 120th edition of the Classic of the Falling Leaves.
The event was attended by Alessandro Rapinese, Mayor of Como; Ezio Vergani, President of the Como-Lecco Chamber of Commerce; and Luca Guercilena, COO of RCS Sports & Events. They presented the agreement that will ensure the race continues to feature in the city on the shores of Lake Como for the next three editions.
The new agreement further strengthens the bond between Como and one of the most prestigious races on the international cycling calendar, which has long found an ideal setting in the surrounding area.
